例文一：The best speech I’ve ever heard was back in my high school days. It must have been 2 years already, but I swear I remember every moment of it… even till now. I liked the speech not so much for its content, but more for the way the speaker delivered his speech.
This particular speech took place in the school’s lecture hall and it was packed with students and teachers. Luckily for me, I got in early and sat right in the front – 5 meters from the stage. The speech was to be about “Healthy Living”…not exactly very interesting I thought.
But when the speech started, it brought the house down. The speaker entered the hall wearing a huge hamburger suit holding a huge plate of McDonald burgers and fries! And he shouted “I’m lovin’ it …..And.... I’m dying from it!” Everyone was on the floor. What an awesome way to kick off!
The whole point of the speech, as you might have guessed, was about the harm of fast food. That part in itself wasn’t that interesting because he was throwing all kinds of numbers about calories, body fat, at us. I guessed no one really paid attention to that. But the impact had already been made. Fast food equals a fast death. Maybe I’m exaggerating a bit here.
But the speech was truly effective in that I had stayed off fast food since then. Anyway, the speech then ended with a standing ovation.

Well, when i got this topic I was very excited, because people used to ask me to talk about my family. And I 'm always proud of my family and enjoy talking about them. Now let me briefly tell you about my father, who has taught me a lot of life lessons. My father is a tall man with hard, handsome features, though he looks like a local and regular guy. Working for china radio international as a technical backup, he is a very serious, responsible and well-respected staff member. friends gave me some advice about health care.
She said that a person who wanted to be healthy must do 3 things.
The first is sleeping well. Sleeping is the most important factor of health. A person needs to sleep at least 8 hrs every day, and the best time for sleeping is between 10 pm and 7 am. staying up is the killer of fitness, while in the past, I liked to play computer games very much, sometimes I stayed up overnight and slept for 24 hrs the second day, which was a really bad habit.
Friends also suggested me to eat more vegetables and fruits, especially the fresh ones. But for me, I thought, vegetables were grasses, which were used to feed animals. Instead I only ate red meats, like pork, beef and mutton, now I am trying to change the habit and I am getting used to vegetables and fruits.
The last, she suggested me is doing exercises. At that time she was doing yoga, which she thought was an excellent exercise for ladies. I haven’t joined her so far, though I tried many times, but I will make up my mind to do it.
That is the suggestion from friends, who helped me a lot. I do appreciate it very much.

I’m from Shenyang (for example), I live with my parents here in at the moment. To be more exact, we live in an apartment building in one of the northern suburbs of the city. I have my own room and enjoy the privacy that it brings, but I am looking forward to the day that I can have my own apartment. Allow me to explain: they are good parents, and I love them very much, but I would like to be more independent soon.
Sure. Firstly, I could mention the Hun River, which you will find around the city. To the northeast of the city there is the famous Qing Pan Mountains and the zoological park and botanical gardens. Well, first of all, I‘d like to say what my favorite TV program is. As you might have known, it is one of the most popular show in China which is called DAY DAY UP. It’s aired every Friday night hosted by 6 really wonderful hosts. They are really very funny. You know, the show is the best pastime for me in my busy study life. They not only share the happiness with all the audiences, but also tell us something about Chinese traditional customs. For example, when spring festival is around the corner, they will show you how we can have the festival in a funny way---maybe the hosts will play a part in a flick and act thing out. I like this kind of show best. You know, you can learn things through it and also have fun.

There are many libraries in my city. But the one I choose to talk about is Yuelu district library. Located on the Xiaoxiang road in Yuelu district of Changsha just as its name suggests, it is in Yuelu district, west of Changsha city, beside the river. Ever since I was young I have been going there quite often.
As a small child who just started school, my rning for knowledge of this amazing world always drove me to delve into whatever books I could find and understand. And that library became a perfect place to be. Sometimes I would even spend a whole day there, seven days a week, for instance during, summer vacation. Though now I have less free time because of study, I still try to go there once a week.
The library has four floors. The first floor is basically a reception area which consists of a very nice lobby where visitors can rest and have a cup of tea and coffee. And of course, there is also a check-in counter. From the second floor and above, there are many large reading rooms and newly renovated multimedia center, which weren't there when I was yond.
I often spend a whole day there and forget to go back until my mother rings me.

It may or may not fit your personal taste, but give it a listen and see. The sounds in this song are made by animals. I enjo this song in Kindergarten. I would really get into the sounds that animals made.

The shopping center that I like the most is called SPRING 100 Square. It is settled in Huang Xing road, and it’s not far from my school, so it’s convenient for me to go to. This place is focused on fashion and trend, so it’s very popular among teenagers. At weekends, the place is filled with middle school students. You can buy most of the ‘inner’ things there, such as albums of famous pop stars and comic fan stuff. For boys, there are shops highlighting football, where you can buy pillows with Manchester United or AC Milan’s emblem on them. For girls, there are shops selling fancy clothes, accessories, make-up and cute chains to hang on mobile phones. There are also special shops featuring ‘DIY’, where you can do a range of things from hammering your own silver necklace to making soap and perfumes. Is she crazy or mad? As we all know marriage is one of the most important things in one’s life. She is too hurrying to get marry. If I were her, I would think more careful more this. It is out of my expectation but reasonable to get marry once you find your true love!
